Meat Handler

Stampede Culinary Partners is seeking a skilled Meat Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving meat products from one area to another, ensuring efficient and safe handling practices.

• Move portion steaks from conveyor belts into various packaging, including vacuum film and boxes.
• Transport meat products using carts or pans.
• Distribute meat from carts to conveyor belts.
• Place meat into injectors, vacuum machines, and tumblers.
• Shovel meat from carts to pans.
• Place meat on racks or boxes.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and follow direction.
• Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as needed.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance is required.

The successful candidate will work in a cold environment, handling frozen meat throughout the day. Safety shoes are also required.

The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, walking, and lifting meat weighing up to 70 pounds.

The work environment is cold, with temperatures around 45 degrees. The noise level is usually loud.
