Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and be able to manage complex technology projects with aggressive schedules in different time zones.

Key Responsibilities

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for working with Samsung's global teams and Product and Engineering Teams to deliver strategic programs. This will involve driving collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, creating program plans, managing schedules, and owning end-to-end program delivery with a focus on high quality and on-time delivery. You will also be responsible for meticulously planning and conducting workshops with large groups of audience, defining program deliverables, and driving accountability through tracking and follow-up on action items to closure. Additionally, you will oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached, produce program reports for stakeholders, identify and mitigate program risks early, and conduct scrum of scrums and steering committee meetings to bring alignment. Finally, you will provide uniform stakeholder experience through consistent communication, transparency regarding program status, resource requirements, priorities, risks, and issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 6 years of experience in a project/program management role managing software development projects, working experience with technical teams, including product management, operations, engineering, etc. You will also need to have exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization, a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good organizational skills with an ability to multitask, and the ability to correctly present the urgency of issues and escalating appropriately. Additionally, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communications skills, proficiency in Agile software lifecycle methodology with hands-on experience in JIRA Platform and Confluence, and experience in managing AdTech related programs is a plus. Experience in the digital advertising, Mobile, and/or Smart TV space is also a plus. Demonstrated experience in shipping consumer and/or enterprise solutions, experience simultaneously working on multiple programs with multiple stakeholders, experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels, and PMP certification are also a plus. Finally, you will need to have a minimum of 6 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 4 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 2 years experience.
