Job Summary:

Strike LLC is seeking a highly skilled Benefits Manager to oversee and administer our comprehensive benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, vendor management, and benefits administration software. This role requires excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer benefits programs, including medical, pharmaceutical, dental, and vision plans, as well as the 401(k) plan and various leave of absence requests.
  • Process weekly 401(k) contributions, ensure accurate and timely submissions, and manage HSA and FSA funding.
  • Conduct regular meetings with benefits vendors to review program performance, address issues, and discuss updates.
  • Ensure effective weekly benefit deductions and accuracy across platforms.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits programs.
  • Prepare and submit required reports for regulatory compliance and internal audits.
  • Stay informed about changes in benefits laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Employee Communication and Support:
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits questions, claims, and issues.
  • Develop and deliver clear communication materials to educate employees on their benefits options and changes.
Data Management and Analysis:
  • Ensure accurate records of weekly benefit deductions, as well as benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Review weekly discrepancies and correct any errors.
  • Audit benefits carriers and 401(k) plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Program Development:
  • Collaborate with senior management to design and implement benefits strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Review and recommend enhancements to benefits programs based on employee feedback and industry needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, analytics, or management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and vendor management.
  • Experience working with benefits administration software and vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications, such as CEBS, are preferred.
Competencies:
  • Excellent teamwork and soft skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective reporting skills and experience.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms to grasp.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

  • Performs job safely with respect to others, property, and individual safety.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Minimal travel: less than 5%.
