Position Overview:

Bristol Bay Shared Services is in search of a skilled Budget Analyst to join our Resource Management Division. This division plays a crucial role in offering strategic guidance and support to leadership regarding budgetary matters, long-term planning, and optimizing the use of available resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Travel Coordination Services, assisting in the evaluation of cost-benefit analyses related to the organization's travel initiatives.

• Serve as the Lead Analyst overseeing a team of three budget analysts.

• Revamp and enhance various financial reports to improve clarity and usability.

• Manage Performance Evaluations for team members to ensure high standards of performance.

• Provide on-the-job assistance to Resource Management personnel as needed.

• Develop and maintain an up-to-date ULO report for all contracts in the financial system, reflecting current expenditure rates.

• Monitor and report on commitments and obligations across various funding sources.

• Undertake complex assignments and generate Ad Hoc reports as required.

• Regularly update the Status of Funds Master File to ensure accuracy.

• Responsible for compiling and distributing the weekly/biweekly Briefing Report.

• Maintain the Master Science Spend Plan to track financial allocations effectively.

• Reconcile any unmatched disbursements to ensure financial integrity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with the financial system.

• At least five years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

• An active Secret Clearance is required.
