About the Opportunity

Hartford HealthCare (HHC), the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking an Advanced Practice Oncology Provider to join our growing team at Hartford Hospital and surrounding sites in Hartford County. This opportunity will provide value-based care to oncology patients primarily in outpatient settings.

The successful candidate will be involved in triage and the spectrum of outpatient management of cancer patients, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.

As an Advanced Practice Oncology Provider, you will have opportunities for professional advancement and trainings through Hartford HealthCare's unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering.

This role offers a Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule with weekend call rotation, as well as a competitive compensation package, matching 401k, tiered medical, and CME reimbursement.

About You

  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required.
  • Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required.
  • Oncology experience as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or RN is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is preferred.

Salary

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
