D-H Lebanon-MHMH is seeking a dedicated Lead Vascular Technologist to join our esteemed Vascular Lab, recognized for its excellence and accreditation. Our Vascular team is a synergistic group comprising skilled surgeons, advanced practice providers, and dedicated technologists.

Our lab operates at a primary location with additional outpatient facilities, offering a dynamic work environment. We are engaged in numerous clinical studies, providing opportunities for professional growth and contributions to the medical community.

This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with flexibility and minimal on-call requirements. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and an annual education fund.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conducts advanced diagnostic vascular examinations, demonstrating the ability to identify appropriate indications and differentiate between normal and abnormal results.
  • Performs vascular sonographer tasks that align with departmental objectives, including preparing detailed preliminary reports and entering data into the vascular lab system.
  • Effectively communicates critical findings to relevant healthcare providers and collaborates to ensure appropriate examinations are conducted, showcasing an understanding of coding practices.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with all laboratory equipment, ensuring timely reporting and documentation of any equipment issues. Quickly adapts to new technologies with minimal supervision.
  • Engages in Quality Assurance and quality control initiatives, planning and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Explores and develops innovative strategies to enhance patient care through a collaborative approach.
  • Participates in educational programs, training junior technologists, students, and residents, and contributing to staff meetings.
  • Involves in research initiatives, including clinical trials within the Vascular Surgery Department.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited vascular ultrasound program or related health discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in duplex ultrasound technology and non-invasive vascular assessments.
  • Proficient in operating all laboratory equipment.
Licensure/Certifications Required

- Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). - State licensure by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
