Job SummarySchneider is seeking a Regional Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team. As a Regional Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 100% no-touch freight that is 75% drop-and-hook.
Key Responsibilities- Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
- Drive in and out of railyards within 350 miles of Fairmont City, IL.
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport freight containers.
Schneider offers a competitive pay and benefits package, including:
- Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
- Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
- Paid orientation.
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
- Live within 40 miles of Fairmont City, IL.
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
