Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all established health and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrate skill in food presentation for catered and special events.
  • Contribute to the development of seasonal, café, and catering menus.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Code standards for all products.
  • Maintain proper rotation, labeling, and dating of all food items.
  • Keep the work area clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Communicate inventory needs to management effectively.
  • Coordinate cooking orders to ensure timely and accurate preparation.
  • Assist in restocking paper supplies and food items as necessary.
  • Support colleagues in various roles as required.
  • Execute all opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Employee Training Manual.
  • Be adaptable to work across multiple stations during shifts.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food preparation within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and independently.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to all safety policies and regulations.
  • Punctuality in accordance with the attendance policy.
  • Flexibility is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills at all times.
  • MAST certification required.
  • Food Handler's permit required.
This role is part of a small, cohesive team where collaboration and punctuality are vital for success.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $21 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, plus tip sharing.
