The St. Luke's University Health Network seeks a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner for its Cardiology department.

Job Description:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and education as part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work under the supervision of and/or in collaboration with attending physicians to deliver medical services that meet the needs of patients.

  • Assess, treat, counsel, and educate patients and their families on various medical conditions.
  • Evaluate patients, perform physical examinations, and obtain and update medical histories.
  • Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and accurately interpreting test results.
  • Develop and implement appropriate patient management and treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and institutions to meet patient healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality healthcare based on best practices and evidence-based medicine.

Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as necessary and aligned with granted clinical privileges.

Conduct virtual care services, including live and interactive clinical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients via St. Luke's virtual care platform.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current licensure in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (dependent on job location).

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification for Physician Assistants.

Salary and Benefits:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
