We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in AdTech and programmatic platforms to join our Solutions Engineering Org at Samsung Electronics America North America.
Key Responsibilities- Develop deep technical expertise on the Samsung Ads platform, including the underlying client/server architecture, data flow, workflow, and setup/configuration.
- Lead cross-functional investigations to solve complex technical problems that impact the Samsung Ads business.
- Drive incident management: Assist business operations with communicating to stakeholders when an issue significantly impacts the Samsung Ads business. Conduct engineering post-mortems to assess where process and monitoring can improve.
- Analyze data from the Samsung Ads platform to identify business critical issues and then work with product and engineering teams to implement a solution.
- Work with the data analytics team to create dashboards that show the health of the Samsung Ads platform.
- Continuously monitor the performance of the Samsung Ads platform, looking for ways to improve the product and help our customers grow.
- Design automated tools that monitor critical business metrics and generate alerts when performance spikes occur.
- Work with end-to-end Samsung TV ad testing environments for troubleshooting critical business issues.
- 8+ years' experience working on technical teams (technical services, technical support, technical product management, technical program management, etc.) within the AdTech industry.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, open RTB, and VAST video.
- Experience managing projects, prioritizing, and working alongside cross-functional engineering, product, and GTM teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, communicating effectively to business and engineering teams.
- Experience using bash or other command line languages, SQL queries, and reading source code to understand how a product behaves.
- Proficiency in using cloud-based tools like S3, Athena, QuickSights, and Kibana.
- Experience reading source code using cloud-based git repositories like GitHub and BitBucket.
- Demonstrated experience in solving technical issues with third-party SSPs, SSAI vendors, Measurement solutions, Fraud Prevention companies, etc.
- Extensive experience using Jira projects to collaborate with engineering, product, technical support, and business operations.
The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $180k and $195k. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
