Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students' educational and social development in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and reinforcing learning concepts.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support students with daily activities, such as organization and assignment completion.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
  • Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and performance.
  • Assist with classroom setup, preparation of materials, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children and supporting their educational growth.
