Recovery Specialist

As a Recovery Specialist at Sun Street Centers, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery journey of program participants. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the security and well-being of our residential women's alcohol and drug program. This includes monitoring guest room clients, completing regular room checks, and preparing for the morning shift with daily rosters and sign-in sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor guest room clients in detox on a regular basis
• Complete check of rooms twice a night
• Prepare for the morning shift with daily roster and sign-in sheets
• Provide support for residents in recovery from addiction
• Participate in program activities designed to support environmental change for individual recovery

Requirements:

• Experience in the alcohol and drug addictions field and residential treatment program a plus
• Approved amount of time in continuous sobriety (if in recovery)
• Emergency Medical Technicians, nursing students, VNA experience encouraged to apply
