Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights, with a focus on providing exceptional care to patients in our Labor and Delivery unit. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including labor and delivery complications
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements
  • RN license in the state of Idaho required prior to start
  • RN license in the state of Oregon required within 90 days of start date
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification
  • ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date
  • PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date
