Job Summary:

CentraState Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality pharmaceutical services to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient-specific medications for dispensing in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assists with inventory management, including ordering and rotation of medications to minimize carrying costs and waste.
• Repackages and batches medication in a timely and accurate manner.
• Checks PAR levels and expiration dates of medications and provides documentation.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives in the department.
• Assists pharmacists, lead technicians, and manager with operational needs and projects.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician License in the state of New Jersey.
• CPCT Certification Required.
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team and patients.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
