Join Butler America Aerospace, LLC. as a Structural Analysis Engineer and contribute to the design and analysis of aircraft primary structures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing computational methods and tools in a specialized field, including strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement analytical or digital computation methods to perform pre-dimensioning computations
  • Analyze data and results, and make informed decisions on credibility
  • Develop measurement plans for tests and analyze results
  • Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software, including NASTRAN and PATRAN
  • Familiarity with UNIX computer systems and tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience applying skills, tools, and judgment to aircraft primary structure design
  • Experience analyzing aircraft subsystems and subsystem installations
  • Ability to interpret detail, assembly, and installation type drawings
  • Required Minimum skills:
    • 1. Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
    • 2. Hand analysis of aerospace structures
    • 3. NASTRAN and PATRAN
    • 4. UNIX user experience
