Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Mainframe Support Engineer specializing in IMS DB. This position requires a strong foundation in system design and application support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for mainframe applications.
- Engage in maintenance and support tasks to ensure operational stability.
- Participate in weekend support on a rotational basis.
- Support services are available 13 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotational schedule.
- Flexibility to work shifts, particularly from 2 PM to 11 PM, during certain weeks of the month.
- Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and Changeman/Endeavor.
- Familiarity with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong grasp of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.

Skills and Competencies:
- Hands-on experience in coding and debugging within a corporate environment.
- Excellent knowledge of support processes and methodologies.
