Unit Manager/Director - RN Job Description

West Reading Nursing and Rehab is seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Manage human resources, including recruiting, orienting, and assessing the work performance of nursing staff.
  • Implement disciplinary action when necessary and limit the use of overtime and agency personnel.

Qualifications:
