Ensure that all insurance, demographic, and eligibility data is accurately collected and entered into the system.
Schedule appointments for new patients, register them, and gather medical records for their initial visit.
Utilize the Summary of Patient Reimbursement and Liability form to obtain necessary approvals.
Maintain patient confidentiality to safeguard both the patient and the clinic/corporation.
Adhere to established policies and procedures to enhance office efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of two years of experience in a medical business office, particularly with insurance processes and patient interactions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is expected to be present at the work site during standard business hours and is frequently required to sit or stand and communicate effectively.
This role requires a full range of motion, including the ability to handle and lift patients, manual dexterity, and coordination. Prolonged standing and walking may be necessary. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges are required.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment may involve exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions typical of an oncology/hematology clinic setting.
