Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to medically fragile children in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with our patients, providing personalized care and support to help them thrive in their own environments.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for our patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our multidisciplinary team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in our electronic system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, family members, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
