Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the PICU team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among staff members.
- Assist with the development and implementation of unit-specific policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including coordination of care transitions and discharge planning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a pediatric or critical care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software applications.
