Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.

• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.

• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, restocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Surgical Technologist course preferred.

• Two years of previous operating room experience required; ASC experience a plus.

• ORT certification a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate: $38.00-$42.00 per hour.
