Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and implementing a comprehensive strategy for grant acquisition.
  • Leading, mentoring, and expanding the grant writing team.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the research, identification, and securing of new funding avenues.
  • Managing the entire grant lifecycle, from proposal drafting to compliance and reporting.
  • Collaborating with various departments to align grant opportunities with organizational objectives and projects.
  • Ensuring precision and punctuality in the submission of all grant applications.
  • Monitoring changes in grant regulations and requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in grant writing and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing a grant development team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in nonprofit, education, or government sectors.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the grant funding community.

Certifications:

Certification from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI) or a similar credential is preferred.
