Position Overview
Job Title: EHS Manager / Safety Manager
Status: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the facility
- Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and hazard assessments
- Administer safety inspections and audits
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Provide training to production personnel on safety standards and practices
- Lead initiatives related to Health, Environmental, and Safety management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety management or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector focusing on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HACCP principles, and PSM standards
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Familiarity with Blood Borne Pathogen protocols
- Experience with Confined Space regulations
- Expertise in Process Safety Management
- Proficient in Risk Assessment methodologies
- Experience in conducting Safety Audits
- Skilled in Accident Investigation techniques
- Understanding of Food Safety and Food Manufacturing practices
