We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our Advanced Manufacturing Project Management team in Syracuse, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the construction activities for fast-paced EPC projects in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee superintendents, supervisors, and administrators on project-related activities.
  • Assemble project teams to review job-specific issues, including schedules, health and safety, subcontractor coordination, and more.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with company practices.
  • Lead teams through the change order process, including notification, data gathering, and project manager review.
  • Participate in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
  • Serve as Project Site Safety Leader in the absence of a full-time EHS Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and modify the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Provide updates to Project Managers on cost, schedule, and client management.
  • Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for project success.
  • Manage client relationships and obtain feedback.
  • Execute commissioning and closeout processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Previous experience in a construction-related field (management level not required).
  • Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications, and interpret data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
  • Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means, and methods.
