Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Yield Engineering Systems (YES) is a leading manufacturer of reliable, high-tech, cost-effective capital equipment that transforms materials and surfaces at the nanoscale. We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering team responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing of electro-mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality) to improve product manufacturing and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and process documentation.
  • Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or manufacturing engineering (or related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with a focus on electro-mechanical products.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills, with acute attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with MES, CAD software, and automation technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with excellent written and analytical skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $135,000 - $145,000 per year, with higher compensation available depending on advanced skills and/or specific experience.
