Acute Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Acute Dialysis Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Conduct routine patient assessments, record vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with hemodialysis machine setup and operation, as well as patient education on dialysis-related topics
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time
- Successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test
