Job Summary

The Baltimore County Public Schools seeks a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the critical role of Coordinator, College, Career, and Technical Education. As a key member of the education team, this professional will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing programs related to College, Career, and Technical Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum and materials selection for CTE programs.
  • Analyze data on CTE completers, industry certifications, and early college programs to inform program development.
  • Provide fiscal oversight of CTE, College and Career Readiness, and Blueprint for Maryland's Future funds.
  • Collaborate with content supervisors, resource teachers, career navigators, and work-based learning coordinators to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Ensure that CTE and early college programs align with system-wide goals and priorities.
  • Develop and lead professional development for teachers and staff on CTE curriculum, requirements, and best practices.
  • Communicate with post-secondary partners to identify opportunities for students to earn college credits and industry credentials.
  • Evaluate and improve CTE programs to ensure they meet labor market demand.
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial requirements.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a field related to career and technology education.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in CTE.
  • Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate with an Administrator I endorsement.
  • Strong knowledge of CTE principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
