Lead CT Technologist Opportunity

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our team in Radiology. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations, operating CT-scanner and ancillary equipment, and assisting radiologists and other staff in interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols
  • Operate CT-scanner and ancillary equipment with proficiency
  • Assist radiologists and other staff in interventional procedures
  • Accurately document patient information and examination results in computer systems
  • Understand principles and dangers of contrast administration and identify contraindications
  • Properly identify patients, review orders, and select scanning protocols for safe and effective patient care
  • Maximize patient throughput and demonstrate teamwork with coworkers
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for imaging services
  • Perform staff evaluations and maintain equipment
Requirements:
  • High school or GED
  • Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT accredited school of Radiography
  • 1 year CT experience preferred
  • State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license, ARRT (CT), CPR
  • Strong customer service and critical thinking skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic PC skills, including RIS/PACS experience
