About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support services to children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting.
  • Carry out specific interventions developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Transfer skills to individuals' natural support in the least restrictive environment.
  • Assist the Educational Administrator by deploying direct care staff strategically throughout the facility.
  • Support teachers in managing student behaviors.
  • Serve as an exemplar to direct care staff and ensure efficient communication between the school, residential program, and/or school district representatives.
