Job Summary

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Chicago. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and technical support in a cath lab setting
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including imaging and fluoroscopy systems
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Transport patients as needed and provide support with patient transfers
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
