Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President for Business Operations & Controller, the Senior Financial Planning Analyst is tasked with the creation, management, and support of the college's financial plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the comprehensive budget for the college.
- Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements and facilitate the closing of financial records.
- Establish and maintain a transparent and inclusive process for the annual operating and capital budgets aligned with the Strategic Plan.
- Track and report on assessment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of academic and administrative programs.
- Provide continuous support to Senior Staff, Department Chairs, and budget holders, addressing inquiries and making necessary budget adjustments.
- Design and maintain a robust institutional budget model encompassing both operating and capital budgets.
- Deliver financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts to the Financial Performance Committee.
- Coordinate budget-related initiatives with various departments including Business Office, HR, IT, and Facilities Management.
- Assist in data collection and reporting for surveys and institutional reports.
- Monitor and assist with the accounting of restricted projects and gifts.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field and/or CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in financial management or analysis is essential.

- Experience in financial administration within higher education or non-profit sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders.

- High-level proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Excel, Word, and database applications.
- Successful completion of background checks is required.
