About the Role

The Senior Network Engineer is a critical member of our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures to meet business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers to ensure seamless network operations
  • Oversee large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional departments to align network strategies with business goals
  • Ensure network performance and security by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated with emerging technologies
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years implementing and managing switching, routing, wireless, and firewall devices in a multi-site environment
  • 4+ years installing and maintaining shared storage networks (iSCSI)
  • 6+ years managing network monitoring and alerting
  • 6+ years WAN implementation, configuration, and administration experience
  • Ability to plan, design, implement, and support computing and storage solutions
  • Ability to follow a change management process
  • Experience with troubleshooting difficult and complex network problems
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • A thorough understanding of IP networking
  • A thorough understanding of WiFi, LAN, and WAN protocols
  • A thorough understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, etc.)
