We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Counselor to join our team at AccentCare. As a Spiritual Care Counselor, you will provide spiritual support and care to patients and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients and families through the anticipatory grief and post-death bereavement processes.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments of patients' spiritual needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Provide spiritual support and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Network with clergy, faith leaders, and spiritual care providers to provide information and support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ordained, credentialed, or commissioned according to a legitimate and recognized religious organization or faith tradition.
  • Three Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units from ACPE.
  • Previous hospice experience preferred.
