- Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets to ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Coordinate check-in and pre-registration procedures for arriving groups, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Review and track requests for room changes, communicating status to relevant staff members.
- Confirm reservations and cancellations, verifying accuracy and updating records as needed.
- Review out-of-order rooms daily, ensuring rates match market codes and documenting exceptions.
- Verify and adjust billing for guests, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
- File guest paperwork and documentation, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
- Set up and process guest check-ins and check-outs, activating room keys and securing valid payment.
- Identify over-commitments and perform duplicate reservation checks, blocking rooms as necessary.
- Run daily reports, analyzing data to optimize guest experiences and improve operational efficiency.
- Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, enter and locate information using computers and/or POS systems, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
