  • Ensure accuracy in purchasing data within the inventory management system.
  • Facilitate the timely processing of open orders to uphold stock availability and service quality.
  • Monitor overdue purchase orders and adjust expected delivery dates accordingly.
  • Address discrepancies in purchase order receipts in collaboration with vendors and distribution center staff.
  • Identify alternative sources for products to minimize stockouts.
  • Manage slow-moving and overstock items effectively to optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on product reviews, return requests, and compliance with delivery standards.
  • Resolve logistical issues related to shipping, receiving, and pricing in conjunction with accounting and distribution teams.
  • Communicate item status and quality concerns with the sales team.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: High School diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in purchasing or production control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Preferred: Experience with SAP and a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in supply chain operations focused on replenishment and purchasing.
