Job Summary

As a key member of the Care Resource team, the Pharmacist in Charge will lead, direct, and manage pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. This role is responsible for ensuring the engagement and professional development of pharmacy staff, as well as ensuring overall compliance and achievement of business results across operations, quality assurance, clinical outcomes, and market growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage pharmacy staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as Care Resource policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Pharmacy Officer to build strategic partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Supervise and develop pharmacy staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Valid Florida Pharmacist License, active and in good standing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail setting, including prescription filling, record keeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance billing.
Preferred Qualifications
