Overview

Berry Global, a leading global supplier of innovative nonwoven, flexible, and rigid products, is seeking a skilled Packer Trainer to join its team. As a Packer Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of Berry Global's manufacturing operations by providing structured training to packers on the shift, evaluating employee progress, and providing status updates to the shift supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Packer Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Modeling Berry Global's good manufacturing practices
  • Providing structured training to packers on the shift
  • Evaluating employee progress and providing status updates to the shift supervisor
  • Ensuring training is uniform and consistent
  • Performing all functions of a packer

Qualifications

To be successful as a Packer Trainer, you will need:

  • 2 years of manufacturing process experience
  • Good math skills and basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Organized and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Good attendance
  • Ability to create a buddy system
  • Provide training feedback and documentation
  • Lead by example and follow safety rules
