Responsibilities:


The Packaging Trainer will exemplify Berry's good Manufacturing Practices while delivering structured training for packers during their shift; assess employee progress; and communicate status updates to the shift supervisor.

The Packaging Trainer guarantees that training is standardized and consistent, while also being proficient in all packer functions.


Qualifications:
Comprehend and adhere to GMP and safe work practices

  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes preferred
  • Strong mathematical abilities & basic computer proficiency
  • High attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand/walk for 12 hours
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey processes, procedures, and AIB standards to employees
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Organized and able to maintain order
  • Consistent attendance
  • Utilize provided guidelines for training
  • Ability to establish a buddy system
  • Provide training feedback and maintain documentation
  • Lead by example
  • Adhere to safety regulations
  • Participate in training courses
