Job Summary

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking a skilled Discovery Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our litigation support group, you will be responsible for managing all stages of a discovery project, including document preservation, collection, and production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage discovery projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of results
  • Provide guidance and advice on discovery processes and procedures
  • Assist in developing plans and procedures for document collection, review, and production
  • Work with discovery vendors and clients' discovery attorneys and IT personnel
  • Stay up-to-date with discovery technology, including review platforms and AI/TAR tools

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and a member of the District of Columbia Bar
  • Prior experience in a litigation practice, especially complex, multi-party litigation
  • Flexibility to work extensive overtime to meet the needs of cases assigned
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, project management, and technical skills
