Cardiovascular Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cardiovascular Specialist to provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and diagnose and treat various cardiovascular conditions.

  • Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
  • Lead a cardiovascular care team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Assist in managing clinical and business operations to optimize patient outcomes
  • Diagnose and treat chronic cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and heart failure
  • Assess, recommend care plans, and prescribe medication to patients
  • Review and participate in external cardiology referrals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in patient education and training initiatives to promote heart health
  • Contribute to quality and performance initiatives to drive excellence in cardiovascular care
  • Engage in local travel to cover specific markets and provide care to patients in need

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or similar specialty
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Current, unrestricted and active license to practice medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cardiologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
