About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems throughout our plant, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, MCC, lighting, and emergency lighting.
  • Troubleshoot electrical supply and controls to and on equipment, and assist maintenance and technicians with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Install and repair electrical requirements, including running or repairing conduit and associated hardware and wiring.
  • Document and record setting of equipment as needed, and provide training to operators and mechanics to ensure correct operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of other equipment as directed by maintenance management, and advise management on best practices and optimization.
Requirements
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician or higher, or ability to obtain a Statement of Michigan Journeyman Electrical License or higher.
  • 2 years industrial electrical experience, with knowledge of NEC and all aspects of the electrical field.
  • Knowledge of 460 volt, 277 volts, 120 volts, and 24 volts AC or DC, as well as motors and motor controls and circuits.
  • Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers and VFDs.
  • Ability to read and use electrical schematics in troubleshooting equipment failure.
