As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
  • Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC certification.
  • Two years of experience in a PACU or similar setting, with a strong background in critical care nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
