Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Assist with the implementation of RMF packages and identify vulnerabilities within our systems.
  • Ensure all applicable cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures are followed and required cybersecurity controls are implemented and validated.
  • Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity-related plans, procedures, and guidance.
  • Monitor and recognize non-compliance, suspicious, and anomalous activity and effectively report such activity and associated risks to the appropriate parties.
  • Ensure plans of action and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during monitoring activity, audits, inspections, etc. and implement, or oversee, required corrective actions.
  • Collect and retain data to meet reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and correlate data (logs, events, activity) from various sources to identify and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: DoD8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+) and CE level certification
  • Clearance: Secret minimum, with eligibility for Top Secret
  • Minimum 3 years experience in cyber security and RMF
  • Familiarity with applying NIST Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems
  • Good understanding of DFARS Safeguarding Unclassified Controlled Technical information
  • Familiarity with NCMI networking
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent additional experience accepted
