Urology Opportunity in Albany, NY
St. Peters Health Partners is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join Capital Region Urology in Albany, New York.
This role involves working with Urologists in the outpatient clinic, with a full-time Monday-to-Friday schedule and telephone call rotation. The position will treat adults of all ages, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract and male reproductive organ issues.
Responsibilities
- Monday through Friday schedule, dayshift
- Weeknight first call telephone 5-9pm Monday - Thursday, 1:11 call rotation
- Preoperative teaching for surgical patients undergoing radical surgery (on-the-job training)
- Postoperative care of surgical patients in the outpatient setting, including complex oncologic cases
- Routine urology follow-ups
- Participation in an Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic
- Procedures in the office – no prior experience required (on-the-job training provided)
Requirements
- Interest and desire to work in a high-volume Urology program
- Experience or clinical rotation in Urology preferred
- NYS licensure
- DEA required
- Board Certification
