Finance Faculty Opportunity
The Department of Finance at California State University San Marcos invites applications for a pool of part-time lecturers to teach various finance courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master's degree in business or a related field
- Industry experience in a finance-related position
- Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A doctorate degree or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience
- Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
- Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,007 - $6,174 per full-time month
The salary schedule information for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges:
- CSU Classification Salary Range Lecturer A - AY: $5,007 – $6,359 per full-time month
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
