Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to the idea that every person deserves to be seen regardless of their abilities and disabilities.

As a Part-Time Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our team to implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by our supervisor.

You will accurately complete all required documentation and data collection daily, and communicate in a professional, confidential, and respectful manner with clients, parents, behavior analysts, and other members of the community.

Responsibilities
  • Direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor
  • Accurately completes all required documentation and data collection daily
  • Complete online billing accordingly to the insurance codes authorized and submit in the specified timeframe
  • Meets regularly with Supervisor and participates in consultations in-person with client and BCBA
  • Attend introductory and ongoing training
  • Communicates in a professional, confidential, and respectful manner with clients, parents, behavior analysts, and other members of the community
Requirements
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Candidates with incomplete degrees will be considered based on experience
  • Complete a fingerprint clearance card
  • Complete a 40-hour training program (conducted by a BACB certificant) based on the RBT Task List
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment
  • Reliable transportation (proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance required)
  • Must be able to travel to multiple work sites, including offices, homes, schools, and other locations in the community
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 35 pounds
  • Pass a criminal background check
