Job Summary

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles, adhering to guidelines and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems, as well as mechanical skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform lube, oil, and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints.
  • Report all necessary repairs to the service advisor.
  • Install completed LOF reminder stickers in vehicles.
  • Check and refill fluids, including battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic computer skills to utilize the timekeeping system.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Work Environment

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with service advisors and the service manager.
