Job Title: Express Lube Technician

Hendrick Buick GMC Cadillac (Cary) is seeking a highly skilled Express Lube Technician to join our team. As an Express Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform express lube duties, including oil and filter changes, lubrication of joints, and other related tasks.
  • Adhere to express lube guidelines and procedures.
  • Report all necessary repairs to the service advisor.
  • Install completed LOF reminder stickers in vehicles.
  • Check and refill fluids, including battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid.
  • Ensure that vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Work Environment:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Duties are performed primarily in the service area, and the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
