Mobile Physical Therapy Specialist
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
The Mobile Physical Therapy Specialist is responsible for ensuring that physical therapy services, operations, and training are conducted in alignment with established protocols and the treatment philosophy of Nova Medical Centers across various locations. This position aims to equip physical therapy professionals with the necessary resources to advance into supervisory and leadership roles within the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership Duties
- Guarantees ongoing adherence to Nova Medical Centers' policies, procedures, and standards.
- Aims to meet Key Performance Indicators and Core Competencies.
- Implements ethical business practices and personnel policies for all team members.
- Engages in the training and development of departmental staff.
- Collaborates with the Physical Therapy Market Director, Medical Director, and Associate Director of Clinic Operations to oversee daily operations and resolve conflicts among staff.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and corporate discussions.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Maintains a professional environment while delivering physical therapy services.
- Ensures alignment with Nova Medical Centers' treatment philosophy.
- Conducts chart evaluations and offers individualized clinical guidance to therapy team members.
- Coordinates and engages in professional development and ongoing competency training.
Additional Responsibilities
- Works with the Vice-President of Physical Therapy, Director of Physical Therapy Professional Development, and Director of Human Resources to arrange clinic visits, including travel and accommodation logistics as necessary.
- Ensures compliance with the regulations and standards set by relevant licensing and accrediting bodies.
- Responsible for managing schedules and ensuring adequate staffing across facilities, available 24/7.
- Regularly meets with the Director of Physical Therapy Professional Development and other leaders to discuss patient care quality, review policies, and attend training or educational sessions as required.
- Provides input on facility planning, equipment needs, and potential enhancements.
- Monitors the relationship between the physical therapy team and other professional staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Extensive travel is a requirement for this position.
Education and Credentials
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
- Current state licensure with the ability to obtain multiple state licenses.
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain it.
- Extensive continuing education in manual therapy and/or sports medicine.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated effective communication skills with a diverse range of patients, clients, and stakeholders including management and service providers.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make informed decisions, and motivate team members.
Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities, including extensive travel and adaptability to various lodging and travel situations.
