Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to teach Allied Health courses, including lecture and lab components. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructional preparation, teaching, and evaluating student performance in the classroom, lab, and clinical setting. Additionally, they will participate in determining course goals and objectives, develop instructional materials, and utilize computer technologies to facilitate learning.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Allied Health courses, including lecture and lab components
  • Evaluate student performance in the classroom, lab, and clinical setting
  • Develop and deliver instructional materials consistent with course objectives and Allied Health Program requirements
  • Participate in determining course goals and objectives
  • Utilize computer technologies to facilitate learning
  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field
  • Valid License and/or certification as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or other related healthcare professional
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical healthcare setting
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Two-Five years teaching experience in an Allied Health Profession
  • Community college teaching experience preferred
  • Experience with using a Learning Management System
